Maura Joy Lustig recently opened Infinity Art Studios in Peterborough, primarily working in encaustic. “Encaustic” is from the ancient Greek enkaustikos, which means “to Heat” or “to Burn.” Encaustic is the name for both a medium, pigmented wax, and the process, involving heat, by which the medium is applied and secured. Fine art is available as originals, prints and cards, etc. Choose from a selection of work including the following media–encaustic, photography, acrylic, watercolor and oil.
