Tempt your taste buds with the most delicious event of the year. The entire family can take part in hands-on crafts and games including an apple craft, sack races, tug-o-war and of course, bobbing for apples. Take a ride through the historic village on a horse drawn wagon and stop by the Cider Barn to try your hand at cider pressing. Savour mulled apple cider, freshly baked Apple Brown Betty, sweet apple tarts and ham and savoury on a bun. Freshly pressed cider and sweet, juicy apples as well as Empire cheese curd will also be available for sale. Musical guests: Gopher Baroque and Kirby & Yates.
Special Event Admission: Adult $9, Student/Senior $8, Youth (5-14) $5, Under 5 free, Family $25 (includes 2 adults & 4 youth). All taxes included.

TBA A festival for paupers or princes, the Peterborough Summer Festival of Lights is free for everyone. Events are staged at Del Crary Park, on Little Lake in downtown Peterborough every Wednesday and Saturday evening. From late June to August, plop a lawn chair on the grass and listen to one of the concerts performed by renown rock, folk, country or blues artists. Later, turn to the lovely illuminated boat parade or become transfixed on the fireworks display. Join the thousands each summer at this annual celebration.

TBA Behold two days of dancing, contests and presentations as several North American Indian tribes come together each year in September. Observe the traditional and modern songs and dances that tell of religious, war or social topics. While at the Pow Wow, tour the Whetung Ojibwa Centre art and crafts gallery. Situated on the Whetung Ojibwa Indian Reserve, just north of Peterborough.
