The Bard’s Bus Tour
The Tempest, by William Shakespeare
Driftwood Theatre presents Shakespeare’s masterpiece, The Tempest. One of Shakespeare’s most celebrated plays, The Tempest pits one man’s need for personal vengeance against his hopes for the future of his family. It is a story of magic, power and forgiveness told in Driftwood’ signature style blending movement, song, puppetry and classic storytelling.
All performances begin at 7:30pm.

From swing to rock to r&b, to classical to folk, Driftwood Theatre has drawn on some of the greatest musical styles to bring life to Shakespeare’s song and text. For its 20th season Driftwood celebrates the music of Shakespeare live in an a cappella concert. Join Driftwood Theatre for a free concert taking place prior to select performances of The Tempest.
All performances begin at 6:30pm.
Performance dates are July 12 (Oshawa), July 19 (Mississauga), July 23 (Toronto), August 10 (Cobourg) and August 17 (Port Perry). All performances FREE.

Jamaican Self Help presents 6th Annual Caribbean Street Fest from 4 - 10 p.m. in Peterborough. This festival is a FREE one day event filled with Caribbean culture, food, music and dance! Children’s activities will be available in the Kids Zone so bring your family! Performers including Dub Trinity and The Human Rights will be there! There will also be Caribbean inspired foods and other tasty treats from local restaurants to enjoy. This festival is located between George and Water Street in Peterborough.
